July 12th
Summer energy!

With 3 kids home for the summer we are finding a rhythm around elSage home and business. I've been creating new designs and Jonathan has printed us up some lovely fresh wearables! Paige has been busy doing color work for stickers and the shop has been busy with tourists and locals alike. Our personal life has been filled with friends and family lately, lots of celebrations and gathering!

The new Stay Wild crewneck is out now- this might be a limited edition one of a kind. I'm going to tinker with the back florals a little more- this run is loose, artsy, and free. We're loving how they turned out! It's a short run so if you love them grab your size quick. I'm wearing a medium for reference (my typical women's size).

We are working on quite a few things behind the scenes these days- really trying to internalize the message that you get in life what you have the courage to ask for. We hope that you are also staying brave and going after your dreams.

Yard signs are stocked up now more than ever. It is an honor to have these available for the community. Stop by the shop to see them all. If you're not local you can order direct from the maker, Signs of Justice

This week we had guests come in the shop and film from Holboy Entertainment we loved working with them and cannot wait to see how the Hidden Gems episode featuring elSage turns out!

We just finished a quick little custom project for a friend. He came to us with an idea on a napkin and we were able to turn it into a digital sketch and hats for a guys trip! If you have a custom project we would love to help you out. Custom design and print services are available now at elSage.

Making art and watching sunsets is keeping us going.
We hope you are all enjoying summer sun and energy. Sending all the best to you!
With gratitude,
Phoebe

Dates to remember:
July 27th Valley Made Market
August 16th Downtown Mount Vernon Block Party
July 26, 2025
What an interesting time to be alive! The political events that are unfolding feel like too much for one era. I'm watching it all and also trying to stay in balance and not get too hopeful about the far right collapsing (but seriously, is this the beginning of the end?).

In small business life we continue to make more than ever. If you come out to Valley Made Market tomorrowyou'll get first dibs on super fresh elSage prints like Wilderness Bear muscle tees, women's cut tees in burnt orange and navy, everyone's favorite raglan in daisy, new Pacific Northwest (Phoebe's version) tees in women's cut and unisex, and restocks of Tree vol. 2 & Daisy muscle tees (you can see both of those by clicking here).

Making feels like the antidote to the political chaos around us. You'll see new art on the walls on your next visit to the shop with more coming out of the studio all the time. You can peek a little of the process now too- our work area is in the back of the store now. I'll do my best to share some peeks behind the scenes on social media and you can see a few pieces in the montage above.

Our work for the 2025 Valley Made Holiday Market continues. I'll have a save the date flyer done for tomorrow's market so you can pop it on your fridge. We're at a new location this year right in Mount Vernon on the hill at the lodge inside Hillcrest Park. If you're a maker or know a maker applications open August 1st (which is next Friday if you can believe that!). We're looking forward to putting together 3 amazing, community focused shows this year. In our opinion, there's nothing better than the indie-made ecosystem and we're proud to be able to bring quality, independently made goods to Skagit Valley.

We've seen so many visitors through the shop lately, it's really interesting to chat with everyone and hear their stories. It's also very cool to see downtown Mount Vernon through their eyes. This town is a special spot and that is shining through more than ever. There's an understated, diamond in the rough, IYKYK kind of vibe about Mount Vernon that we have always loved. We're delighted to see more people discovering the delights of Downtown Mount Vernon and Skagit Valley as a whole.
Hope to see you tomorrow!
With heart,
Phoebe
