We've been quietly building something.

For years, custom design and printing has been a less visible part of what we do at elSage. Farms, restaurants, schools, unions, shops, community groups, and individuals have all come through our back room studio on 1st Street in Mount Vernon with projects that we've loved bringing to life. Our slow, vintage style printing putting a special touch on each project. 

We're expanding the custom side of our business from a side thing to a real part of what we do. Our custom design and printing now has a new (digital) space to call it's own. elSage Custom Design and Printing is live at elsage.com.

What We Make

We print on apparel, hats, and totes. We make stickers and patches. We design from scratch or work with what you bring us. If you've got an idea for custom merch, branded goods, event swag, or a one-of-a-kind project, this is the place to start.

Recent Work

The Bainbridge Island design you might have seen recently was a commission from Radical Roots Collective, a shop on Bainbridge Island. We designed and printed their merch and we're honored to be making things for them.

Where We Come From

elSage started as elSage Designs in 2010, an online shop rooted in handmade culture and independent maker community. Our first brick and mortar opened in Mount Vernon in June 2016. Custom printing has grown alongside the shop over the past decade into something we're genuinely proud of.

We use water-based inks, work with quality blanks, and bring the same care to a 12-piece run as a 500-piece order. Every project comes through our back room studio, not a middleman.

Who We Work With
