Closing out Summer, Behind the Scenes

August 23, 2026
As our kids get ready to head back to school this week I'm hit with the bittersweetness of another summer gone and the excitement for routine and expanded quiet moments that fall brings. I have a pile of custom design work that I'm excited to get carved up this week, and even more to finish sketching. We are grateful for all of the inquires and amazing businesses, non profits, and friends that we get to work with. If you're looking for custom design or print information check out our dedicated custom work site >>> elsage.com
Our shop windows are fresh thanks to Paige. Stop by to see them in their full glory. We love how Paige finds ways to use mostly repurposed or craft stash materials in her window designs. This display has packaging materials, items from the recycle bin, old burlap coffee sacks, and crepe paper from previous projects. We think it turned out amazing! Big thanks to Paige for the beautiful vision and execution of our sunflower themed windows.
Our print shop has been restocking things like Chicken and Sailboat hats, making new zip hoodies in the Tree and Bear designs, and printing up custom tees for the upcoming Nite production of The Hunchback of Notre Dame.
We've had a fun filled summer with visits to Woolleyfest, NorCal, and a Caamp concert in Vancouver.
I'm not ready for summer to end and I'm also completely ready for the shift in seasons. Sometimes holding two things at once is the name of the game. There is beauty in the contradiction and clarity in the nuance.
We will be soaking in the last of summer including the August Valley Made Market tomorrow. We hope that you'll join us and celebrate that summer isn't over quite yet!
