About the Maker
Jessi McNeal is the artist behind The Cheery Pet. She is a self-taught painter and has been painting for about 7 years, but in 2019 she quit her job to pursue creative passions full time! She works primarily in acrylic on canvas or wood. Jessi lives in the Pacific Northwest, about an hour north of Seattle on a five-acre farm. She's married and has four kids and one cat. A woman of countless talents, she's also a folk/Americana singer-songwriter and has released three albums. When not in her studio painting, Jessi is usually out playing a show.
